We value your privacy.  This statement explains how Diskat Pty Ltd ACN 155 698 561 t/a Duck’n Out (ACN 606787955) (“Duck’n Out, us, we, our”) handles your personal information, which is information that is identifiable to you. 

What information do we collect?

We collect information from Users of our website (“the Site”) and our mobile device application (“the App”).  The information that we collect depends upon the functions that you use.

Information about you

We collect information from you such as your name, email address and your location.  We also collect the information that you choose to post on the Site, such as photos, places that you have been to, or intend to go to.  This also includes any content that you write such as reviews, and information contained in invitations that you create.

Information about others

Information is collected from others if they upload a photo of you, include you in an invitation, invite you to join a group, or upload your information to a contacts list. 

Places you have been

We also collect information about the Duck’n Out places (“Place”) that you have been to, and the Places that you invite people to.  This includes how active you are with using our services.


If you link your Facebook account to your profile, we will have access to any public information contained in your Facebook account together with your Friends’ list.

Web Browser Cookies

As with most websites, we may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. Cookies do not cause damage or harm your system and are used to assist Users with our site.  Users may choose to alter personal web browser settings so as to refuse cookies, or to provide alerts when cookies are being sent.

How we use your information

We first and foremost use your information to provide our services to you, so that you can enjoy the functionalities that Duck’n Out has to offer.  We use your information for the purpose that you provide it, so that you can invite people to a particular venue.  We also use information to facilitate discussions with your contacts, and the groups that you create. 

Communication with you

You will receive email notifications about any invitations, or new content connected to your profile.  We will use your information to provide you with content that you may be interested in, and to keep you up to date with our services.  We may use your email address to send promotional material to you, but you are able to unsubscribe at any time. 

Reward you

We keep track of your use of our Service so that we can reward you with points to attain a certain user status.  Points are awarded based upon your use of the App including the number of venues visited by you which are advertised by Duck’n Out and the number of times you invite people to venues on the App.

Business purposes

We will also use information to track how people use the service such as which functions are being used and what aspects are popular to identify any areas that we can improve on.

Who do we share your information with?

We provide you with the ability to share your information with people of your choosing.  We do not sell or disclose information to third parties other than as required by law or as set out in this statement.

Your contacts

When you create an invitation or a group, any content that you upload is shared with the people in that group, or included in that invitation.  Reviews about a Place are not shared publicly or with the Place  and are only available to the people that you choose to share your thoughts with.


When you have been invited to a Place by someone else, or included in a group, the other people in the group or included in the invitation will see your profile information and any content that you upload to that group or in response to that invitation. 

Business Advisors

We may at times share information with our business advisors, partners and affiliates.  Generally this type of information will be aggregated and de-identified and not relate to a particular individual profile.


We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site and in our App.

Your obligations

We cannot guarantee security from third party attacks, especially on your personal devices.  You should ensure that your password is kept securely, and that you implement appropriate security measures on your own devices. 

How do I change or access my information?

You can change your information at any time, through the Settings tab in your profile.
